Job Description
General Information:
- The internship will begin on July 15th and run until late September (unless you would like to hold a role permanently)
- Applications are due by July 16th
- Interns must be in high school(9th-12th) or college
- Interns will work remotely, unless specifically asked to complete in-person work
- This internship is unpaid, but you will receive volunteer hours
- All interns should be ready to commit 1-3 hours per week
- Experience is not required, just passion

- Interns will report to and get manageable weekly tasks from the founder
Roles Offered:
1) Local Community Chapter President
-Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Organize local events and activities to promote cultural exchange, preferably through music
- or/and Organize or perform in musical concerts(solo or group) at least twice a month in nursing
homes/other places in your community
- Send pictures/videos of events so we may upload them on the website
- Act as a liaison between the local community and the main organization (Founder can provide event
ideas)
- Possess leadership and organizational skills

2) Finance Intern
-Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Organize fundraising events and initiatives to raise money(however method you choose) for
underprivileged music programs and students
- There will be a portal on the organization's website to send the money to
- Ideas for fundraising can be discussed with the Founder on a weekly/every other week basis
- Good communication and organizational skills

3) Marketing Intern
-Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the organization and its events.
- Manage social media accounts and create engaging content.
- Coordinate with any media outlets/newspapers/etc. to advertise organization
- Writing and content creation skills

4) Global Music Education/Editorial Intern
-Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Write weekly educational posts on international music, current events related to music, or other relevant
topics (freedom to choose topics)
- Research and curate content for the organization's newsletter
- Strong writing and research skills

General Recommended Skills:

We are a youth-led organization that aims to foster global unity by highlighting and sharing diverse musical traditions. We create educational programs and events celebrating cultural richness and promoting mutual understanding through music. By providing resources and financial support to underprivileged music programs, we strive to make musical education accessible to everyone, regardless of their background.
