Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
A bit about us: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our dynamic team! This role is a key player in managing and safeguarding our company's receivables. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our accounts receivable portfolio, resolving discrepancies and past due accounts, and contributing to the overall financial health of our company.
The ideal Assistant AR Manager is someone who is looking to grow in their career, as well as lead team members. The ideal Assistant AR Manager has experience in all aspects of AR, as well as system implementation experience, ideally involving Peoplesoft, as well as a go-getter mentality. Job Details Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Credit Manager, you will:
1. Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, customer service, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Review aging reports regularly to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate action to resolve past due accounts.
3. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable records and reports.
4. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and ensure timely collection of payments.
5. Use Peoplesoft and other financial software to perform daily tasks and generate financial reports.
6. Assist the Credit Manager in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures.
7. Participate in regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounts receivable data.
8. Train and mentor staff on best practices for managing accounts receivable and credit control processes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Assistant Credit Manager role, you should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and credit management, preferably in the manufacturing industry or consumer products.
2. Proven experience in managing aging reports and resolving past due accounts.
3. Proficiency in using Peoplesoft and other financial software.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detecting discrepancies in financial data.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the company.
7. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred, not required)
