About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Individual Partner Relations to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission of gospel outreach. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the individual giving team, with a focus on maintaining and growing the donor base to support the expansion of the company's impact. This role is particularly significant as the company transitions to a new era of leadership, and the VP will work closely with the founder, who is moving into an ambassador role, to bring fresh vision and leadership while leveraging the founder's long-standing relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic fundraising leader with a proven track record in scaling development programs, capable of guiding the team through transition and growth, and will be expected to develop and implement a multi-year strategic plan for individual donor engagement. Applicants for the VP of Individual Partner Relations position at the company should be committed followers of Jesus Christ, with a passion for the organization's mission and alignment with its statement of faith. A minimum of 7 years' fundraising experience in a nonprofit setting, including a strong background in securing major gifts, is required. The role demands a high level of comfort and effectiveness in working with high-net-worth individuals, as well as proficiency in donor management software and online platforms. The candidate must be a relational, strategic leader, capable of fostering collaboration, and should possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. The position also requires the ability to work a flexible schedule and a deep care for the spiritual and physical well-being of donors and their families.
