Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic person to be the lead instructor for our Caregiver-and-me program, Littlest Guppies, for children ages 3-5. The hour-long program will run twice a morning on Saturdays for 8 weeks throughout the summer, with one session at 9:00am and one session at 11:00am. Hours will be 8:30am to 12:30pm. Responsibilities will include preparing and executing hands-on activities with participants, providing fun and engaging program sessions, and implementing program curriculum, including paddleboarding, water play, and educational activities. No sailing or boating experience required.

Qualifications

1. Experience working with children required, ages 3-5 preferred.
2. Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to create positive relationships with caregivers and participants. 
4. Experience working in an early childhood educational setting or summer camp setting is a plus. 
5. Up to date certifications in or willing to obtain: CPR & First Aid and SafeSport Training.
6. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay Rate: $80 per day
