Salary: $30 - $45 per hour; DOE

Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Sr. Trucking & Equipment Dispatcher for our field operations. This position will be primarily responsible for managing the company rental equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurate and timely coordination of rental equipment as required by Field Operations.
  • Coordination of the movement and tracking of rental equipment with Superintendents and Foreman.
  • Validation and verification of rental equipment location.
  • Monitoring availability and utilization of company equipment vs. rental equipment.
  • Utilize best practices when determining use of company equipment vs. rental equipment and manpower.
  • Enter and maintain the accuracy in HCSS database.
  • Review and validate invoices for our heavy equipment rentals.
  • Communicate and resolve billing issues with our vendors.
  • Update and process purchase orders for rental equipment invoices.
  • Partner with our accounting team to process all outstanding invoices on time.
  • Scanning and filling documents as needed.
  • Maintain and upload the most current rates for equipment rentals.

QUALIFICATONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction rental equipment knowledge.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and partner with our Field Operations Team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task under solid pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about learning new skills and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with HCSS, Vista or other construction software a plus.

OTHER:

  • Ability to work overtime on an as needed basis.
  • General work environment sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, bending.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
