The Recruiter will be responsible for increasing enrollment at the College through targeted recruitment initiatives, actively representing the College at various events, and consistently seeking to promote partnerships with area schools, businesses, and the military. In addition, the Recruiter will serve as an admissions advisor, as assigned. This position requires an energetic and dynamic person who will represent the College to prospective students, parents, public school administration and staff, business partners, and the community. The qualified candidate must develop ongoing relationships with diverse populations in multiple markets and provide in-depth follow-up with prospects to ensure successful onboarding to the College. This position requires some evening and weekend commitments and occasional travel. This position reports to the Associate Vice President, Student Affairs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate degree or appropriate experience and a valid state driver's license. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience at the postsecondary level in a Student Services area.
