  • FYZICAL Hackettstown seeks a full-time Physician Liaison as the primary field salesperson for our soon-to-open physical therapy clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Field Sales & Marketing – develop and implement sales and marketing plans for direct outreach to referral sources (physicians and their offices, creating community events) to build relationships to meet referral goals.
  • Develop Referral Streams – leader of all initiatives to build volume and favorable relationships. Identify referral sources, especially thinking outside-the-box to build relationships that uniquely position FYZICAL Hackettstown as a go-to clinic for physical therapy in Northwest NJ.
  • Analytical and Quickly Adjust – analyze sales, marketing, and referral data, utilize FYZICAL’s Daily Management Report (DMR), and adjust field sales and marketing campaigns as needed.
  • Research, Test & Learn – use research-based methods to implement and refine strategies that build awareness and trust in FYZICAL Hackettstown.
  • Detailed Referral Tracking – ability to follow direction and trust the system created by FYZICAL HQ (you will have access to detailed and effective training) and use certain templates and programs for tracking and leads management (DMR).
  • Relationship Building – Develop strong business relationships with local community organizations and businesses, including other physical therapy clinics.
  • Collaborative – work collaboratively with others in the clinic and others who interact with physician offices, including hospital medical affairs, outbound referral systems, provider recruitment, and provider resources.
  • Maintain & Build Relationships – establish and maintain ongoing communications with referring providers and/or their office staff, including routine or follow-up visits, emails and phone calls.
Required Skills
  • Previous Experience – 4+ years of experience in field sales in a similar professional environment. A proven ability to create relationships with physicians and physician offices is a significant plus.
  • Personable and Empathetic – the right mindset, being a team player, and enthusiasm for learning are essential. You must also be well-liked, able to respect others' time, and avoid conflict.
  • Highly Organized, Detail-Oriented, with Strong Time Management Skills – you feel responsible for helping our clinic grow. You have excellent time management skills and are highly organized.

  • Clear, Timely, and Engaging Communicator – natural and empathetic communicator who is comfortable walking into a physician's office unannounced and building a relationship from scratch. You will be the primary interface with our referral sources.
  • Comfortable with Technology – fluent in computer programs and spreadsheets, email communication, texting, social media, etc.
  • Education – a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college is a plus but not necessary.
  • Reliable Transportation – a valid driver’s license and a car is required, as you will drive daily within an assigned territory. Your mileage will be reimbursed (70 cents/mile).
