As Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator, you will play a critical role in enhancing patient care quality, safety, and efficiency. You will identify opportunities for improvement, drive workflow optimization initiatives, ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, and implement data-driven solutions. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate the division’s performance improvement program, monitor performance, track outcomes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement through data collection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking.

We require

• Current NYS RN licensure
• BSN in nursing essential
• 5-7 years Emergency Department nursing experience required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in performance improvement, chart audits, data analysis, data reporting, or development and production of automated reports preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of computers and software including MS Word, Excel Access, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CQI principles.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze statistics and data in various formats.
• Ability to interpret medical records.
• Good organizational & interpersonal skills.
• Good English verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain ED educational requirements (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC)

We prefer

• MSN preferred
• Current Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred
