Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Billing Assistant to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, new program environment and have a passion for healthcare, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and manage medical billing and coding for patient services.
• Ensure timely submission of claims to insurance companies.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain patient billing records and update information as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure accurate billing.
• Assist with the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in medical billing and coding.
• Strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations and insurance processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Smartcare, & Epic preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.64 - $22.64/hr.
