We are a youth workforce development organization that serves youths who would otherwise go unnoticed: the under-resourced and at-risk youths who have limited to no access to the technology, financing, and professional networks that can empower them to pursue their dreams.

Job Description

Passion for Life is seeking a Marketing Team Co-Lead: Growth Marketing to join our Marketing & Communications team. In this volunteer role, you will leverage your marketing expertise, external relationships, and business acumen to positively reinforce Passion for Life’s brand awareness, increase sales, and drive revenue. 

Volunteer Responsibilities 

  • Develop comprehensive demand generation strategy to grow nonprofit partnerships, secure corporate sponsorships, and drive individual donor engagement 

  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns to generate interest in Passion for Life’s mission and services 

  • Co-lead the Marketing & Communications team to develop and execute strategy and tactics

  • Analyze marketing insights to inform strategic planning 

Qualifications

 

  • 7+ years experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial / start-up environment preferred, with a clear ability to both execute strategically and “roll-up-your-sleeves” when needed

  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with experience growing and developing a team. Experience leading people is preferred.

  • Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written

  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization (both internal and external)

  • Effective project management and time management skills are critical

  • Proficiency using Google Suite: Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides required

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field

  • Prior experience in a nonprofit organization, a plus

  • Experience using Asana, MailChimp, WordPress, and Adobe Suite (or similar software), preferred

 

Additional Information

Estimated time commitment:

5-10 hours/ week depending on needs, including monthly organizational meetings, bi-weekly team meetings, & monthly reports

Term limit: 6 months, with the option to extend
