Job Title: HVAC Install Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused HVAC Install Manager to lead and oversee residential HVAC installations. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth, efficient, and high-quality installation process while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs), be proficient with spreadsheets and Microsoft Word, and excel in coordinating multiple tasks and teams to ensure timely, efficient, and quality installs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience:
    Ensure a seamless, positive experience for customers from initial consultation through installation. Proactively address customer concerns and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.

  • Site Visits & Install Oversight:
    Conduct on-site visits as necessary to oversee installations, confirm project specifications, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

  • Team & Project Coordination:
    Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure that each installation is scheduled, executed, and managed efficiently to meet customer expectations and project deadlines.

  • Logistics & Inventory Management:
    Oversee the ordering and staging of HVAC equipment and parts, ensuring they are delivered to job sites on time and ready for installation.

  • KPI Monitoring & Reporting:
    Understand and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to installation performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Use spreadsheets and reports to monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets, and provide actionable insights to improve team performance.

  • Documentation & Paperwork:
    Ensure all necessary documentation, including warranty forms, rebate applications, and financing paperwork, is completed and submitted accurately and promptly.

  • Customer Follow-Up & Retention:
    Conduct follow-up communications at seasonal changes, and at the 1-year and 2-year anniversaries to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve any ongoing issues, and promote continued business relationships.

  • Efficiency & Productivity:
    Ensure the installation team meets the company’s goal of completing 3 installations per day, maintaining quality while meeting productivity targets.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HVAC installations or related field (HVAC knowledge preferred but not required).
  • Strong understanding of KPIs and how to leverage them to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets) and Microsoft Word (documentation).
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage customer relationships with professionalism.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable with on-site visits and handling any technical or customer service-related issues.
