Job Details
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our sustainable design team. The ideal candidate has the ability to design lighting and power distribution systems for complex commercial and industrial buildings, and has an understanding of energy use and conservation measures.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of electrical engineering & design experience with Engineering Consulting firm
EIT or PE License desired.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is required. Revit is a plus.
Good writing and general communication skills.
LEED AP certification is a plus.
COVID vaccination required.
Duties
Design building power distribution systems, building interior and exterior lighting systems, building fire detection systems, building telephone and data distribution systems.
Provide technical clarification of designs. Monitor electrical construction progress. Review shop drawings.
Conduct field investigations and prepare reports for electrical issues.
Cost estimating and equipment selection.
Arc flash and energy analysis.
Communicate with architects, contractors, owners, other designers, and external consultants.
