Talent Corps is seeking a Foreman for an upcoming construction site in the DMV area.

Ideal candidate will be:

• Responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating the work of subcontractors, vendors and/or trade employees.
• Professional and well spoken - Bi-lingual a plus.
• Experience with ProCore preferred.
• The Project Foreman is responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project.
• The Project Foreman has supervisory responsibility for trade employees on the project.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be a working foreman while leading trade staff to complete job site related projects.
• Ability to problem solve at no cost to the contract.
• Ability to take and log project photos.
• Oversee and making decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels.
• Work closely with Superintendent to resolve local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment schedule and all other appropriate matters.
• Assist with the overall site safety and quality programs as required
• Completes and submits time sheets, daily construction reports, and required safety paperwork daily.
• Supervise and develop employees, as assigned
• Address staff needs and resolve problems. Provide staff feedback, reward, and discipline as required.
• Assist project team with creating schedules and determining sequencing of work. Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule, when requested.
• Assist in scheduling and expediting the delivery of materials and equipment.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, backhoe, skid steer, excavator, compactors, and construction hoist
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
• Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work as needed
• Display a high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations.

Required:

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Willing to work a minimum of 6am to 2pm with possibility of overtime
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have current OSHA certification and CPR/First certified
