**Financial Accountant Position**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Brooklyn, OH. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial operations and grow with our company.

**Responsibilities and Expectations:**

- Prepare entries for assets, liabilities, and capital accounts by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Document financial transactions by accurately entering account information.
- Summarize the current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting footnotes.
- Verify financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Resolve financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with remote employees and external accountants.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency in Peachtree (or similar accounting software) is required.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work with a sense of urgency, and function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and time management abilities.
- CPA license is preferred but not required.
